About Blossom & Bloom

Compassionate, evidence-based maternity and infant care designed to support families through every stage of pregnancy and early parenthood.

At the heart of Blossom & Bloom is Safa El-Dadoun, a passionate midwife and maternal-infant health specialist dedicated to supporting families during one of life’s most meaningful transitions.

Safa is a highly experienced Registered and Endorsed Midwife, Lactation Consultant, Infant Sleep Consultant, Paediatric and Infant Massage Consultant and Pregnancy and Postpartum Aromatherapy Specialist. She is dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood with compassionate, evidence-based care.

With more than a decade of experience across major maternity hospitals in Sydney, Safa has worked in a wide range of clinical roles including caseload midwifery, education, clinical leadership and high-risk obstetric care. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to safe, respectful and culturally sensitive maternity care.

Through Blossom & Bloom Maternity and Infant Health Clinic, Safa offers personalised support for families including pregnancy guidance, nausea and vomiting care plans, breastfeeding support, contraception care, infant sleep consultations, parenting education and infant massage.

Safa is also the author of the published book A Book That Makes Sense About Pregnancy, written to provide clear, practical and evidence-based guidance for expectant parents. The book was created to simplify the often-overwhelming information surrounding pregnancy and help women understand their options, bodies and care throughout the journey to birth.

Through this work, Safa aims to empower women with knowledge so they can approach pregnancy and childbirth with confidence and informed decision-making.

Her approach blends clinical expertise with nurturing, family-centred care, recognising that every family’s journey is unique. Safa believes that when women are supported with the right knowledge, reassurance and practical tools, they are able to navigate pregnancy, birth and early parenthood with greater confidence and calm.

Fluent in English and Arabic, Safa is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where women and their families from diverse backgrounds feel understood, respected and cared for.

A Message From Safa

Becoming a mother is one of the most profound experiences a woman can have. While it is filled with joy and excitement, it can also bring uncertainty and many new challenges.

As a midwife, I have supported many families through pregnancy and birth, but it was not until I experienced pregnancy myself that I truly understood how valuable ongoing support can be outside of the hospital setting. This realisation inspired me to create Blossom & Bloom Maternity and Infant Health Clinic — a space where families can receive personalised, compassionate and evidence-based support throughout pregnancy and early parenthood.

My goal is to empower families with knowledge, reassurance and practical guidance so that they feel confident as they grow into their new role as parents.

At Blossom and Bloom, we gently nurture the emotional wellbeing of women and children through dedicated mental health and counselling support, delivered with compassion, warmth, and understanding.

Our counsellor, Saja El-Dadoun, offers a deeply personalised and supportive experience, creating a safe and calming space for individuals and families to feel heard, supported, and empowered. Saja holds a Bachelor of Social Work with Honours from the University of Sydney and a Master of Counselling from the University of Canberra, combining strong academic foundations with heartfelt care.

Her passion for counselling began many years ago and is reflected in her gentle, client-centred approach. Saja is committed to walking alongside you through every stage — supporting emotional wellbeing, strengthening resilience, and fostering confidence in both women and children.

At Blossom and Bloom, we believe that mental health care should feel nurturing, respectful, and truly personalised. With expert guidance and genuine care, we are here to support you and your family in a way that feels safe, supported, and deeply valued.
